I arrived in Jakarta yesterday night in preparation for the 7th round for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. I'm currently leading the championship and I am really focused on putting in a good performance here for Team Jebsen.

It's my second time here in Indonesia, the last time being 2006. I walked the circuit today and I was quickly refreshed on the characteristics of the track. There is a very abbrasive surface here and remembering from my experience here in the past, that leads to very high tire wear.

I'm feeling very good and ready for the race. I've built enough experience over the years to put behind tough weekends, and really turn it into positive energy. That will be tested this weekend as I have had a very trying time the past month.

The team worked hard on the preparation of the car today, and it is ready for the first of three practice sessions this weekend before we qualify on Saturday afternoon. There will be two races on Sunday each being 15 laps.

Jakarta still seems to be a bit chaotic like before, but it is a bit of a different experience when we get to the circuit located in Sentul, which is about an hours drive out of Jakarta. As I was walking around the track, there were alot of kids standing around the circuit yelling and waving. People here really seem friendly! They were really excited about the races this weekend, so hopefully all of us in the Carrera Cup will be able to put on some good races for the fans.
